After graduating from Lakewood Ranch High School, Dr. Brown pursued her interests in science and medicine at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she graduated Suma Cum Laude, in the top 4% of her class, with a degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. Dr. Brown then headed to Gainesville, Florida where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (D.M.D.) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Tamra Brown maintained a high level of academic achievement while in dental school, consistently remaining in the top 10% of students throughout her training. She earned many awards including grants for academic performance, the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student award, and was one of 10 senior dental students inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, “Omicron Kappa Upsilon.” At U.F. Dr. Brown also served as a teaching assistant for prosthodontics and operative dentistry while in her third and fourth years of dental school, teaching the first- and second-year students a multitude of dental skills she had perfected. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as a dental student ambassador while at UF College of Dentistry.
With her father, Lee Culp, CDT, highly involved in prestigious postgraduate dental education, Dr. Brown is committed to dental excellence and strives to stay current through participating in dental continuing education courses in order to provide state-of-the-art care to her patients. She wrote a chapter with her father in a dental textbook, “The Dental Reference Manual: A Daily Guide for Students and Practitioners,” published after her senior year of dental school. Dr. Brown believes dentistry is a profession where constant learning and advancement is of utmost importance.
Dr. Brown has a daughter named Stella who loves smiling as much as she does. Dr. Tamra loves anything to do with spending time with her daughter, health and fitness, surfing, rock-climbing, skydiving, the beach, and anything to do with the outdoors. She has a passion for providing exceptional and compassionate dental work as well as participating in community events as she continues to love life in Vero Beach.

Dr. Tamra spent several years after graduating from dental school working at private practices in the Vero Beach area and perfecting her skills further.
